Project inquiries

When you contact softworm, we collect the name, email address, project description, budget range, timeline, and optional company name you provide. We use these details to respond, discuss your project, and follow up on the conversation. Please avoid including passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in your message.

Storage and email

This website runs on Cloudflare. Inquiry details are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database, and a notification is queued for the studio through Cloudflare email services. The notification contains your inquiry, with your email address used for replies. Email providers also process messages when you contact us directly or we reply.

Security and technical information

Cloudflare processes technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. The inquiry form uses rate limits and a hidden spam check. Our application does not store your IP address in the inquiry record. The inquiry form does not set advertising or analytics cookies.

Keeping and removing information

Inquiry records and related emails are retained for responding to and following up on project discussions. There is no automatic expiry for inquiry records. To ask about, correct, or request removal of information you sent, contact hello@softworm.com. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information.
